Lee Joon: When he proposes to you. (One Shot)

A/N: This is more of a one-shot than a scenario. So keep reading :D

The feeling of hanging on to someone. Not thinking of what the two of you might be, It was just like being stuck in a quicksand the longer you stay the harder to get out. 

It was a lazy Saturday afternoon, you were in front of your laptop watching random videos that you knew could make you feel better. 

You were friends since middle school, you never expected yourself fall for him. But to your dismay you did. It was vivid that experience when you first met, you were young at that time.

The heart-wrenching part was you can never be more than friends, You loved him. He didn’t love you back, you didn’t know. He never said anything. But you are certain that he sees you as a friend.

Nothing more.

There were sweet moments that are worthy to be cherished. When he always walks you home at night, to be sure you’ll be home safe. When he kisses your forehead and says good night. It was simple, but for you it means the whole world. 

Your cellphone vibrated on the top of your desk, your heart skipped a bit. It was him. Let’s go to the street party later. It made you smile. You straightly walked inside the bathroom to shower and to head directly to the party.

You wear your red-mini dress and your black heels, you wore your hair loose, you were confident that you look pretty. In fact, few of the people were staring at you. 

You were on a street party down your neighborhood. It was traditional that every last Saturday night of the month. They held party for fun, this includes dancing and hip-hop dancing competitions. 

”____-ah.” A familiar voice called you from behind. You look back to see who it was, It was him. Lee Joon. He looked stunning, he wore some V-neck that revealed his sexy collar bones and some denim pants on.

He eyed you for a bit as if examining you. “You look pretty tonight.” He complemented. Your faced turned crimson red.

It was the time for the hip-hop dance competitions. You were squished in the crowd, behind you was Lee Joon, He was holding your shoulders so that he wouldn’t loose you from the number of the people present on the event. 

You can feel his heavy breathing at the back of your ear, It sent chills down your spine. The music started to play, It was loud. Incredibly loud.

”____ah, I need to tell you something.” He said in your right ear. You hardly hear what he’s saying. “What?” You screamed. 

“I need to tell you something.” He began to shout. “What is it?” You screamed back. “You see, I’ve been trying to hide this but I can’t anymore, I know we’re friends but I love you _____-ah.” He explained. 

You started getting annoyed, all you heard was murmur. Why does he have to tell you something while you’re enjoying yourself watching this talented contestants.

“I didn’t catch that.” You screamed. “I said I’ve be—-“ 

“Whaaat?!” You screamed again, He was interrupted. You wanted to tell him to shut up. But you just couldn’t. You felt that he was saying something important, something you should be caring about.

“I said, I love you.” He whispered directly on your ear, the loud music stopped. You heard that clearly. You felt numb, you were unsure if he meant that or you just heard him wrong. You faced him. He was staring deep in your eyes. 

“What?” You murmured nonchalantly. 

“I’ve been hiding this. But, I…I can’t anymore, I just can’t. I love you more than anything in this world. You don’t have to love me back. I ju—” 

“Idiot, I love you too.” He was taken aback by your remark. You tugged his polo shirt and tears fell from your eyes. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” You manage to say. 

“Because I’m afraid what you’ll answer.” He concluded. 

The people in the crowd were still watching, others noticed the two of you and smiled sweetly as if they envied you. You lightly kiss his lips. 

As cliche as it sounds, you were the luckiest girl on earth.
